NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Franklin on October 5, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Highway Garage, 12480 County Hwy 21, Franklin NY  regarding a local law entitled “A Local Law Adopted Pursuant to Cannabis Law § 131 Opting Out of Licensing and Establishing Retail Cannabis Dispensaries and On-Site Cannabis Consumption Establishments.”

Notice is further given that the environmental significance, if any, of the proposed local law will be reviewed incident to, and as a part of, said public hearing.

Any person shall be entitled to be heard upon said proposed Local Law, a copy of which is available for review at the Town Clerk’s Office. Persons, who require assistance in attending said public hearing, or in furnishing comments and suggestions, should contact the undersigned to request such assistance.

Town Board meeting – Tuesday April 6th, 2021

The regularly scheduled April Town Board meeting will be at the Town Hall, 12480 County Highway 21, Franklin, NY 13775. Please contact Town Clerk Sonja Johns for details on conduct of the meeting. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM.

** Please Note** Supervisor Taggart will be in attendance at 7 PM for any individual(s) who might have questions or concerns specific to town business. In adherence to CDC guidance relating to the Coronavirus pandemic, physical distance of 6′ will be maintained and mouth & nose coverings are required.
